I am so aware that Instagram can be a double-edged sword, fab for inspiration and networking, but awful for one’s self-esteem… but that is because it is a highlight reel.
To get good ‘reach’ in a reel I have found sticking to 30 seconds or shorter works best, that means each look needs to be straight to the point, no time for bloopers, or mishaps, plus we want to be showing the ‘finished result and putting our best foot forward.
But the network is full of real tips, and real advice and I NEED you to know that we ALL make mistakes, we ALL feel unmotivated at times and we ALL do things that don’t go ‘to plan’.
In this video, I will show you how this design really looked behind the scenes and share with you valuable tips and tricks to get you out of a funk and to clear up any ‘mistakes’.
For this look you’ll need:
- Basecoat
- Sheer pink gel polish/builder gel
- 3 colours different tones (one jelly)
- Black art gel
- Gold Chrome
- Buffer
- Striping brush
- Top coat
